LOOK: Julia Clarete’s life after showbiz

Most of us know very well that the entertainment industry is ever changing. Almost nothing is permanent and so are the actors and actresses that work in show business.

In the long, long history of Philippine show business, we have seen many beautiful actors and actresses rise to fame and then get out of the industry at some point. Some celebrities, after some time, choose to retire from show business and take on a different path with their lives.

For some celebrities, taking a break from the limelight is necessary for them to regain their energy or even find another purpose in life. This situation is something that is not new for some actors and actresses.

One celebrity who decided to leave the colorful world of showbiz is former actress, host, and singer, Julia Clarete.

Julia Clarete has been in show business since 1995. She is known as one of the earlier teen icons from the youth-oriented TV show, Gimik, and the 2002 teen comedy-drama movie, Jologs.

In 2005, Julia became a host of Eat Bulaga in GMA. Julia’s career in show business was truly a success.

In 2016, many were surprised when it was announced that Julia will no longer be in Eat Bulaga. Julia said that she decided to move to Malaysia to be with her long-time Irish boyfriend, Gareth McGeown.

Julia’s statement, which she personally posted on her Instagram account said that shes is happy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and that she left the Philippines without any problems. She also clarified some rumors and said that she is not pregnant and that she is in good terms with everyone back home in the Philippines.

In her Instagram account, it can be seen by her fans that Julia is having a good time in Malaysia. She has different posts about her life there, including a picture of her and her son, Sebastian, bonding together. Julia also shared that she learned Malay by reading Mickey and Minnie’s Adventure.

Julia is also active in helping the Filipino community in Sabah and has been awarded by the Philippine Embassy in Malaysia for her works in the Alternative Learning Initiative for Filipino children.

Julia also got married last July 2017 white Gareth. Their weddinh was a peaceful and elegant wedding.

Just recently, Julia came back to the Philippines to visit with her husband.
