Being in the showbiz industry can either make you or break you. There are a lot of celebrities who experienced different mental issues and self-battles because of the pressure inside the showbiz industry. We may see a lot of actors and actresses having the time of their lives, but we failed to notice that there are also those who are hurting.
One of the celebrities who admitted considering the choice of quitting showbiz is GMA talent and singer, Rita Daniela. Rita first rose to stardom when she won Popstar Kids Season 1. The show was hosted by former GMA talent, Regine Velasquez.
After Rita won the title for the competition, she became a part of several TV programs and shows. However, she became inactive for two years because according to an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), Rita wants to give priority to her studies.

She admitted that she wanted to quit because there has a been a lot pf pressure coming from different aspects of showbiz. She said that people assume she has an attitude just because of her strong facial features.
“That time kasi, I was working on my scholarship in Benilde. So, every time na hindi ako nasa set, malayo ako sa tao. I go straight to my dressing room, and study and review.
“Pero siguro that time, they felt na masyado akong aloof. They thought na parang may attitude ako. Yeah, [I wanted to quit.] Kasi na feel ko rin na it’s not helping me anymore. Naapektuhan ako sobra.
“Yung mga words, yung puyat din, and pagod ako kasi may iba pa akong inaasikaso. Kinain ako nun. It’s not helping me anymore.”

The 23-year-old actress is taking a degree in Filmmaking, according to PEP.
PEP also reported that it was Gina Alajar who helped her in returning to showbiz.
