With the actor Nonong de Andres’ passing, a lot of celebrities in the showbiz industry expressed their grief on social media. Through their social media accounts, they were able to pay their tributes to the late character actor yesterday, November 6, 2018.
Nonong de Andres was a cast member of the romantic primetime teleserye “Forevermore” along with Enrique Gil and Liza Sobrano way back in 2014. It was a dream come true for him after he was given the opportunity by the ABS CBN management to be a part of a wonderful project which finally showcased his acting skills as “Tito Bangky.” His character later on stood out as he became a father figure to Gil’s character named Xander by giving him good relationship advice to fix Xander’s relationship with Agnes, which is portrayed by Liza Soberano.

With the character actor’s passing Liza and Quen shared a photo of them on their Instagram account with the late actor while paying their respect to their “Tito Bangky.”
Tito Bangky, I wish I could’ve hugged you one last time. May you rest in peace. I love you! We love you,” Soberano wrote, with crying and heart emojis.
“Paalam, Tito Bangks,” Gil said, using frowning and praying emojis. “We lost [a] good one today. Goodbye kiss from Xander.”
De Andres’ passing was announced by his nephew Powie Capino on a Facebook post. In his post Capino wrote the caption, “Please pray for the eternal repose of the soul of my Tito Nonong who [redacted] early this morning.”
According to reports, De Andres’ body was found around 4:30am in one of the cottages of Tumagay Beach Resort in Barangay Tumangay by the caretaker of the resort a man named Larry Liwanag.
Nonong made a name in Filipino scary movies and comedy films by playing multiple roles as a corpse which he got the screen name “Bangkay.”

According to a post made by ABS-CBN, the late character actor started his career as a layout artist. After that he made his debut in showbiz as an extra in some of Dolphy’s films. It was said that at first, he just appeared on TV for fun but as soon as he got the hang of it, he became committed to his acting career.
Nonong was able to create more than a hundred films in his acting career. He was also fortunate enough to work along with the biggest stars in the industry especially with his idol Dolphy.
