Vandolph Quizon was chubby as a kid. In the past, he starred in comedy flicks and TV shows alongside his father, namely “Home Along Da Riles,” “Balimbing,” “Tatay-Nic,” just to name a few. All throughout his entertainment career, he showcased his acting flair for both comedy and drama.
Tragedy struck in 2001 when Valdolph and his then-girlfriend, Desiree Raquiza, were involved in a horrific vehicular accident. Valdolph survived, Desiree did not. This haunted the former child star for years. Luckily, he was able to find love once more with Jennifer Salimao. They got married in 2007.
In 2016, Vandolph Quizon joined the roster of celebrities who entered the realm of politics. He was able to take the position of councilor for Parañaque’s 1st District.
Just like Vandolph, Jennifer is also a public servant as she is a village kagawad in Tondo. Together, they are raising two adorable kids, Vito and Gabrielle (his daughter from his previous relationship).
Despite being a politician, Vandolph Quizon still accepts minor roles onscreen for ABS-CBN, GMA-7, or TV5. But for him, what’s most important is that he gets to spend quality time with his family in spite of his numerous responsibilities.
